Google officially released the Pixel 10 Pro Fold into the mobile market on October 9, 2025. The most ambitious foldable to come from the search engine giant yet, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is everything you could ever want in a pocket computer.
Over its predecessors, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is more durable, more functional, and packs the most advanced, AI-driven hardware.
Google’s team of product engineers intended to make the foldable experience feel a little more premium and just better overall. This, without a price hike or making it too premium for those who would rather have a more durable device that can be used all day versus the slimmest device possible.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold was first unveiled on August 20, 2025 alongside the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. Preorders opened on the same day and while its siblings’ released on August 28, 2025, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold was given an October 9, 2025 release date.
This timeline is consistent with Google’s launch timeframe for its recent successful launches. Google is known to introduce its new products in the fall leading up to early adopter and the demands of the holiday season.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold Price
Pricing for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold starts at $1,799 which is the same as the previous model Pixel 9 Pro Fold which launched in 2024. Although the cost remains the same, the phone/tablet hybrid offers significant upgrades, including a new easily foldable durable gearless hinge, a significantly larger battery and faster charging capabilities.
You can purchase an unlocked version of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold from most retailers, including the Google Store, Best Buy, and Amazon. You may also purchase the phone from T-Mobile, and Verizon and take advantage of carrier offers with qualifying plans.
Google currently has a trade-in deal going on to allow consumers to save up to $760 for qualified devices including previous Pixel devices and select iPhones through October 12, 2025.
Pixel 10 Pro Fold Specs
The Pixel 10 Pro is available in the colors Moonstone or Jade and is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance. Another feather in Google’s cap, this foldable is the first with true dust-tightness and waterproofness. That’s because the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s design incorporates a new gearless hinge to enhance reliability and minimize the chance of dust trouble.
As for the cover display, you get a 6.4-inch Actua OLED touch screen with up to 3000 nits of brightness for visibility in all scenarios. It opens up into flat into a tablet-sized 8-inch Super Actua Flex OLED panel for viewing and productivity .
Both displays have a smooth refresh rate of up to 120Hz, along with added extra durability from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and ultra-thin glass with anti-impact layers.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold get its power from Google’s Tensor G5 processor which results in improved performance, energy efficiency, and exclusive AI features for optimizing apps, multitasking, and photography. The phone offers 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options, paired with 16GB RAM.
It carries a triple camera array, led by a 48MP primary sensor, with an emphasis on computational photography, real-time AI enhancements, and low-light capabilities. The battery is rated at 5,015 mAh—with a strong focus on longevity—plus new wireless charging and Qi2 support. The phone weighs 9.1 oz and comes in Moonstone and Jade colorways.
